SPECIAL PURPOSE MACHINES (SPM)

Special Purpose Machines (SPM) machine are made to operate standalone task to achieve efficiency & quality of output in the high production job. These are not covered in Standard Manufacturing Programs. Hence they have to be designed & tailor made as per the customer’s specific requirements.

SPM, Special Purpose Machines is a high productivity  the machine, with specially designed tooling and fixture, dedicated to mass producing the same component day in and day out. The use of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation minimize possibility of human errors and also reduces human fatigue in carrying out repetitive production operations.  It also assures the quality and interchangeability of parts, by carrying out the same designed process each time without any shortcuts. The productivity achieved after all these efforts are very high. A productivity of 3 to 10 times is achievable.

We offer low cost dedicated SPMs for mass production of small components for 2 & 4 wheelers, tractors, trucks, engines etc. Typical components are rear wheel flange, shifter cam, shifter fork, clutch sleeve etc. Our SPM’s are suitable for mass production of components which involve operations like TURNING, BORING, FACING, DRILLING, REAMING, TAPING, CHAMFERING ETC.
